Johns Creek’s night out is spread across a city-run concert series, a brewery taproom, a few lounges and, from Oct. 29, the new Medley district. For bigger stages, Duluth and Alpharetta are each about four to five miles away.

Venues in Johns Creek

Six Bridges Brewing

The brewery’s Johns Creek taproom, 11455 Lakefield Drive, #300, lists regular events, live music, taproom-only releases, games and local food trucks, and says the whole taproom is dog friendly. Hours: closed Monday; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday; noon to 10 p.m. Saturday; 12:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday (taproom page).

Kismet Lounge

A lounge at 10305 Medlock Bridge Road, Suite A6, built around signature cocktails and DJs. It lists hours of 7 p.m. to midnight Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Phone: 404-533-5502 (Kismet Lounge).

The city’s Summer Concert Series

The City of Johns Creek runs free concerts from spring into fall, alternating between the Founders Amphitheater at Newtown Park, 3150 Old Alabama Road, and the amphitheater at The Boardwalk at Town Center behind City Hall. Gates open at 6 p.m. and music starts at 7 p.m. Food trucks come to every show, beer and wine are sold, and outside alcohol is not allowed. Seating is first come, first served; bring blankets or lawn chairs. Concerts go on rain or shine, but no pop-up tents. Tables in the Newtown amphitheater can be reserved through the city. The 2026 series ended Oct. 3; the 2027 lineup is not out yet (city’s Summer Concerts page).

Medley

Medley, which opens Oct. 29 at Johns Creek Parkway and McGinnis Ferry Road, lists Fadó Irish Pub, CRÚ Food & Wine Bar and STIR among its tenants, and plans live concerts on The Plaza, its 25,000-square-foot green (Medley FAQ). Hours were not posted on Oct. 5. More in our guide to Medley.

The Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra plays a season of concerts at venues around north Fulton, including Johns Creek Baptist Church; its season calendar is on the orchestra’s website.
